Sodium cyanide is a highly toxic white crystalline powder with a faint bitter almond odor. It is strongly alkaline in water and is mainly used in the refining of gold and silver, electroplating, pesticide synthesis, and pharmaceutical production. However, due to its extreme toxicity and serious environmental hazards, its production, transportation, storage, and use are strictly regulated and must be carried out in a closed system under the supervision of partners and with emergency response measures in place.

Packaging Method: Pack into plastic bags, seal the bag opening, then pack into sturdy steel drums with a thickness of not less than 0.75 mm, and tighten the lid tightly. Each drum should have a net weight of 50 kg. Threaded glass bottles, metal-capped glass bottles, plastic bottles, or metal drums (cans) should be packed in ordinary wooden boxes; however, glass bottles must be wrapped in plastic bags.
Transportation Precautions: For rail transport, strictly follow the dangerous goods packing table in the Ministry of Railways' "Rules for the Transport of Dangerous Goods". Before transport, check that the packaging containers are intact and sealed. During transport, ensure that the containers do not leak, collapse, fall, or become damaged. Do not transport with acids, oxidizers, food, or food additives. Transport vehicles should be equipped with leakage emergency handling equipment. Protect from exposure to sunlight, rain, and high temperatures during transport. For road transport, follow the prescribed routes and do not stop in residential areas or densely populated areas.
